If You Need Enclosure Plans Part 2 :)

I saw in the enclosure post the picture of the sketchup drawing. I was wondering how you make it do that with the multi-sectional views(top, left, right)

I was also wondering if there is an easy way to make a cut sheet?

Thanks a bunch,

F3M4

I use Auto Cad and Inventor to design my boxes not sketchup. Also i usually include a cut sheet instead of havin a 3d view in the corner.

If anyone wants i can mod the box if they just want to get a quick idea what its going to look like. And of coarse i will load it with some 3d BTLs :)

2 12" re sx

32w x 16h x 23d

slot port in middle between both subs.. no divider

30hz

14.5h x 3.75-4"w port (54.325-58sqin) whatever works

should be ~3.8-4cuft

Can you go a lil bigger on the box or do a L Port? with the vent in the middle it has to be about 30" long just to get it down to 32hz.

SNAPSHOT

3.73 cft net

54.38 square " of port area

30.00 inches of effective port length

14.58 square " of port area/cube

1.86 cubes/sub

32.65 hz

the box is 5.5 cu ft but the vent is takin up alot due to the short depth of the box. Let me know if your happy with this and i can design it or if you want to make it a lil bigger i can get the tunning down.

Been breaking my head tryin to figure out best design for this one. Lets see what you can come up with:

4 12'' mtx 9500's in an avalanche, so a blow through.

H= 17.5

D= what ever is needed

W= 48.5

tuned to 35 or a little less.

Saw your post on help for the avy box. I just built a box for a EXT, should be the same.... I built it for 3 15s, MTX 7500s, but I tweaked it for your 4 9500 12s. It might be a little confusing.... I made the walls 1.25in thick, thats a piece of .75" MDF + a piece of .5" MDF. The way I drew it I would build the outside box first, then cut the pieces for the thickness and glue and screw them to the inside after the outside is built. Make sure to leave one side off before you add the pieces to the inside, it would be hard that way 8), and make note of how the pieces go together from my drawing. I made it different than i did mine, so you could cut the top/bottom and front back pieces out without having to go across the sheet for it(sheet is 49" wide total box width is 49.5"). btw I made it a little bigger than your measurements, it should fit. we had no problem, but we had to put it in from the cab not the tailgate. its not that hard with 2 people, and with a empty box. Any way hope this helps, let me know if you need help understanding it if you decide to try it.
