2 Kicker Cvr 12" Underpowered?

Recommended Posts

I have 2 kicker cvr comp 12" hooked up to a alpine f5500 multi channel amp which has a total wattage of 500 watts Bridged, 4 ohms: 250 watts x 2 channels

And the subs are 400w rms each

The problem is that when i play my stereo one subwoofers hits hard and the other barely moves.... I can swtich sides using my amp, but wondering how to fix it and I have played around with my amp? Thanks

so im just throwin this out there but 4 channel amps need 4 rca plugged in so try a Y splitter female to male male and im pretty sure you should be good.

edit* youll need two of the female to male male.

something along the lines of this

radioshack has them for sure. walmart has the one from your headunit but you would need another rca cable and have to run it so your better of spending like 10 bucks and doing it that way.

Some kenwood amps have a switch to go from 2ch input to 4 ch input. see if yours has that and try putting it on two channel. should do the trick.

Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer
