jonathancullen89 Posted September 17, 2008 Report Share Posted September 17, 2008 yea def. get a battery. i suggest an optima redtop if you dont want to spend much. do you have those subs already? if you dont i would recommend choosing different subs. i did an install in one of my brothers friends hoes, i built the box to spec, also tuned to 35hz like you want. it was alright loud, not that impressive for two 15". but a week after i installed everything one of the subs started to take a shit, it isnt blown but i think the voice coil is out of line and rubbing the pole. im guessing you found them at thedeepdiscount, just a guess but ill almost bet you did. well deepdiscount customer service is really really shitty, i asked for an rma to send the sub back and it took like 3 weeks. all of here would love to help you set up a system, hopefully you havnt bought the subs so if you havent please tell us how much you want to spend on subs and amp. and make sure you have the wire to back it up, dont use walmart 8 guage lol. i believe a red top is around $100, im not sure on what vehicle you have so idk if you will have room for dual battery up front or you will have to run them too the rear. that means you are going to need two runs of wire from the front to the back, and they have to be the same size. tell us and we will help xD. good luck man Quote 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
