a_steezy Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Hey-ooo new to smd.com but i've been a huge fan of steve meade, blah blah blah, i'm sure you've all heard it ha pretty much got banned for ca.com biggest b.s. of my life, so i joined some other car audio forums, absolute crap no one know's anything ha glad to be here but i have a single 15" L7 being ran by a zx1500.1 in a 4ft^3 box at 38hz. i'm wondering if it would be worth it to try an sell my 15" for two 12" L7's... they'll handle the power alot better and the more surface area any opinions, i have my 15" on craigslist and hoping to get alot for it so money's even for the two 12"s thanks guys, Austin '98 Dodge Durango 5.9L 5% front windows, 2.5% on all backs Alpine CDA-9883 Kicker ZX350.4 Kicker KS650's in all doors Kicker 1/0 hyperflex

Torres Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 bass response is all in the box...80% install...20% product. like people saying smaller subs dont get as low as bigger ones. they're too 'punchy' which is . i've owned all size subs except for 10's. and i did an install in my friends celica with 10's which gets plenty low
