lol oak park, some one gonna get jacked, my uncle owns the 7 11 on Center Parkway and Mack, he wont mind, slurpees on the house

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Its only a dieing sport because no one cares any more, and only the rich (it seems ) can get building these cars. I think its more of a dieing sport due to gas prices, and the fact no one wants to put money in to there cars with the prices of gas

Who doesn't know about db drag? My mother knows what it is, and even my aunt out in isolation, who just sits in her trailer in the middle of the mountains smoking weed all day knows what it is - Not per name Db Drag, but she knows people compete for loudest bass- blahh blahh

People just dont care to get that loud any more, not that they dont know about it

People no longer care. I mean shit we have like 20 classes and its almost all the same shit, and the same people.

Its gonna be like this

Amps: DD, Sundown, Zapco, Earthquake orion

Subs: DD, Sundown, MMATS, Maybe some orion, and maybe a stroker or 2

PERIOD. its all the same shit and its the same people who either have the cash or don't mind a 2nd morgage cause its costs shit tons more to play now than it did even 5 years ago.

i'm not going to say either way if wayne is a greedy mofo or not. HOWEVER

everyone bitched and bitched until wayne gave everyone EXACTLY what they asked for -- a finals close to them. then they bitched even more. OG's dropped out because it was no longer a gathering of the best in the world. it was just another show with the same old folks they saw all year. newcommers are few and far between because like you said, it's the same local folks doing the same stupid shit at every show -- and it sucked the fun out of all of it.

it's not just the rich that partake in this. most are shop owners showing off their demo vehicle. Rich folk partake in SQ and the late NOPI. 80+% of the dbdrag people are working class like you and me....yet they still have the dedication to drive 1500 miles one way to partake in a single point event just for the full brackets. The rest are directly related to the 12v industry. Very small percentage are in the "rich" catigory. Very small.

Is wayne to blame because he gave everyone exactly what they asked for? That's not a fair comment to make. There's a small handful of people on this board that have the experience to even speak on it first hand.

Randy 'Assman' Kubek, teh Mikey Hughes, Rusty and Ana Flowers, TommyK90, Steve Meade and maybe one other. The SSB guys tim and mike have been to finals, and i give them credit there, but they haven't seen it in its hay day.

Or the supper show in vegas thats going on the same time as finals 1 its s super lów ridder show with hella peeps that âlmost all have an aftèr market system there is market right there

2 its freakin vegas peeps from around the world go there and can have many differnt cultcures see what we do
