Just A Simple Question

is a sony 1000w 2ch and a sony 12 worth $60 for both together? i was thinkin i could sell the 12 or just use it, and i seen some techwood floor speakers that i could use on my rca recever with a 15'' sub and 4'' mid with 1 or 2'' tweet 2 of em for $80 what u think? if i got those floor speakers ied put my mtx 5500 15's in there and wire to 8ohm, but anyway more concerned on the sony stuff, heres a link to sub http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7788887

If you think it's a good deal then get it. personally I wouldn't spend money on gear like that. I thinks it's better to wait and get something nice.

from experience id hold off and save up for something good. but its your choice not ours.i use to get pissed when someone told me that but now im glad i did. got me 2 dc 18s chilaxin in the closet but they were worth waiting a couple months for.

lol, this is just somethin simple to go in my car for back n forth to work and what knot, i got good gear in the truck i just need somethin simple for the car, i got a 600w sony 4ch and works nice ima pare with this for mids n highs and prolly build a sub box or get a prefab ported for it for just somethin simple

I'm probably in the top 5 of people that spent money on junk to get by now and then replace it with better later on. it's taken me awhile to learn that there is nothing better then waiting to do it right once. there is plenty of crap in my garage to throw a system back in my Excursion, but I would rather listen to my earbuds on my ipod and wait till I have what I want then to waste money on the crap.

well i already have a sony 4ch and its a good amp for what it is, i kno sony aint got the best rep but for $60 all i need is a good sub amp, i already got 2 300w 2ch amps but there not the same so i need somethin with more kick to push my mtx 5500 15's and that sony is prolly my best bet or i can just run that sony 12 and use my 5500's in my house setup, i already got a good system in my truck, this is just for my geo that i drive back n forth to work and what knot and its my test car that i practice diff stuff on, i already fiberglassed me some pods on the doors but ima try to make a ring i can screw to it for 6&1/2's instead of 5&1/4's should work i unno, and run my sony 600w 4ch to mids n highs and that sony 1000w with taht sony 12 for bass, ive heard some of those sonys in person and they acually sound pritty good, and my buddy had one of those 1200w or so sony amps pushin the mtx8000's i got off him and it did it without any trouble at all, all im lookin for is some good beat, im gettin more into sq than loud bass, ied rather have killer midbass n mids n highs than loudass bass with good mids n highs, it took me like 2hrs to get my truck soundin the way i wanted but now that i got it that way im good with it, but i dont need that 300w2ch in my geo no more i might sell it, hell i might pawn it for those floor speakers i seen so i can put my mtx 5500 15's in em with my rca 1000w recever, should wang, but anyways why do ppl put down sony when they've been out sence pioneer, i mean there car audio stuff isn't all that but its better than most ied idmit, anyways im off to bed
