amazinblazin10 Posted October 31, 2008 Author Report Posted October 31, 2008 So i went from this.... to this!.. i had a issue with my amp though, for some reason when it would want to hit real hard the amp would shut off but i think i've gotten that problem took care of so a little more fine tuning and this thing is going to sound even better. Forevrbumpn Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 hows the difference sound? honestly in my experiences going from a well built tline with a average sub, and then jumping up to a good sub, or damn good sub, its a little difference, but never as much as I hope for Most of the Tlines I built in my past I used Kove Armegedon Z15s or Z12s and going from like a Memphis HPO which is just a 300 rms 2.5" vc sub(or dayton Titanic sub) to the Kove, there would be little difference in sound but in all configs the tlines would boom like crazy I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

aznboi3644 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I'm my T-line I noticed a BIG difference in sound from starting off with an EHQS 12/200 watts to an old school JL 12W6/300 watts to an Alpine Type R 12/ 1000 watts. My Type R handled 1000 watts rms in the t-line very well mechanically and thermally
