Higher Numbers At Low Frequencies

Well I love low bass. I really wanna get a LOUD low setup going. What does it take to get loud at the low frequncies? More cone area? Box design? more power?

Goals are atleast a 145 @ 30hz and a 150 at ATLEAST 39hz

Ya but HOW much power? Right now I am running 2 18"s of a Sundown 3000d. Would a bigger box help out on the low ends?

Vehicles freq will play a big part in getting your goal. If you vehicle peaks low like mine does, you won't need much power. If your ride peak high, you need more power and cone area alone with a good box. You should make your goal easy with your equipment.

That's freaking insane. 154 AT 20HZ. That way way way more impressive than 160db @ 48 HZ. Im shooting a 54.4 @ 30 (musically) and it's ripping the truck apart. You the man Randy

Cone area, a little power and a box design that wants to go low! I built a car that did 153.5dB @ 33Hz off just a single T40001 wish we gave it more power!
