01xtreme
It's like the 2500D, but I dont think the HCCA5000 will do .5 ohm like the 2500D, but Im not 100% sure on that Quote My System: Pioneer AVH-P3200BT 4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors) 8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash) 1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs) 2-18" BTL's (for now) Crescendo 3kwp (for sale) Complete rebuild coming soon... AI James
the 2500d's were even flakey at half ohm. yea they worked but almost all of them made thier way to repair sometime or another
n8ball2013
alot of them that went in for repair at .5 would be due to undervoltage. .the current draw at that load is absolutely rediculous. 01xtreme
No need to run anything @ .5 ohm unless you know you have the electrical to back it up. But I haven't heard too much about the HCCA5000, other than it is basically the new 2500D Quote My System: Pioneer AVH-P3200BT 4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors) 8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash) 1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs) 2-18" BTL's (for now) Crescendo 3kwp (for sale) Complete rebuild coming soon... n8ball2013
alot of them were used in street cars when they first came out. so one batt car off and stupid amounts of current draw. Ive known people who ran them down to .175 each. E a r t h
I had a short time with one, and its alright. Didnt like the dual 4gauge inputs though, that part bugged me since i'm setup for 1/0. I had to add a disto block (1/0in-4out) just to wire it up
