what should i set the dials to on my jl 500/1v2 amp to push my 12 inch Jl W3 subwoofer 4 ohms ?

depends on what rms you want the amp to put out...get a dmm (digital multi meter) and set the amp that way

i want about 300 watts rms

i dont know the exact voltage, but im trying to find a chart to where it should be set to for the amount of watts...i know it's on this site if anyone has that link

If its single 4 ohm voicecoil then 34.64v and for a dual 4ohm voicecoils (parallel 2ohm load)) 24.49 for 300wrms.

just letting u know that kickers on top...........

I'm pretty sure you don't need to "let me know" anything.

This dude just needed to know what voltage to set his amp at.

Make your own topic about how great your 15 is, just let this guy get his advice and move on.

I'm not talking down to you or anything, If you put up a post on how many watts your MA amp is, I'm not going to tell you that corn grows taller in Iowa.... It's just not on topic....

as it should

500 RMS split between 2 woofers = 250 RMS each.

you're prolly feeding your woofer all of 1000 RMS.

not just that but JL's arent really supposed to be uber loud.

they're supoposed to sound good and get decently loud.
