You can pick up a small handheld one for $20, and it would be much better than a wire wheel. etc. You have to take off a lot more metal etc with a grinder or wire wheel than with a sandblaster to get into the pits etc, and you won't have to fill as much. You also won't be as likely to break through the metal if it is thin either...
