I was giving a friend a demo with Young Jeezy, I don't have my electrical and all that shit said and done yet so I end up burning the tensils on the subs. My dad says he can fix it looks at it and says wtf? So, I spend $133 dollars to ship them to Rusty and I find out today that he only received one. The other speaker was sent to an address that did not match because the old lady put my address, but Rustys zip and city. So, I just got off the phone with Rusty because we was rambling on like little kids about audio and shit when the phone disconnects and I'm receiving the first sub on the 17th of this month. He should receive the 2nd sub in a week. Rusty really is a good guy, and I have a lot of respect for him. I did not think he would be so ill over the phone cussing and agreeing with me like I was one of his boyz. He's laid back and professional. all I want to say is Thanks for Rusty, and DC AUDIO FTW. I wouln't count on those coils being burnt up. They're some of the better coils out there. But I agree that Rusty is a decent guy. Too bad about the sub being sent to the wrong address. The subs were just a little out of your ability to fix huh? That sucks you had to send them back, but it happens. Good luck with them when you get them back. Nightshade Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Oh, I didn't see a pic of the coil to know. I've seen several subs in the past have tinsel leads burn and nothing happend to the coils. DC level 4's were one of the subs, and the coils looked brand new still. Shouldn't have been playing that low below tuning to burn them I guess. I've also seen it happen with the Kicker CVR's too and the coil on them was fine. I was just saying that the coils that Rusty uses on those woofers are pretty damn nice. I wouldn't have thought that it would have burnt the coil too is all.
