uhoh_45 Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 i currently have a wall with 2 15" atomic apxx's in it and I'm looking to upgrade to 4 15 apxxs my current wall looks like this and the measurements are here the walls around 30 cubes and its tuned to 33hz at the moment I'm looking to do the wall like this and was wondering if someone could do a sketchup version for me if anyone has any suggestions or anything all help and comments are welcome Quote R.I.P! You can always stagger the subwoofers for more port area and it also helps out numbers, and if that ain't enough you can do it like the design on the right. Boon Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Don't have steps in the box. You'll load the cones wierdly and either get cone rocking (shags the coils when they smash into the sides of the gap) or you'll blow the cones out. You'll also get funky impedance rise on those subs. Make the bottom of the box a ramp. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
