I think you should hook him up with some more dents in his cones. The last ones added 0.3 tenths. :D

I'm sure I can schedule the application of some more "carefully placed SPL enhancement indentations" for Gary any time that he likes :)

... they are commonly mistaken for dents by the untrained eye *laughs*

You guys are hilarious!!!!

No more "carefully placed SPL enhancement indentations" thank you...

Edit: Let me fill you guys in about this... The RF T1 and T2 subs have a real aluminium cone. The first thing Jake does is tap on it with his knuckle and puts a dent in my brand new subs.... geeeezzzzzz....

Maybe thicker shorter wire from sub to amp output. Not much of a reduction in resistance, but may be worth a tenth.

Its worth a shot, my power wires are fairly long coming from the battery. Its already 1/0 gauge can't fit much bigger.

You could try some serious round overs on the baffle of the enclosure. Particularly the front edge. Hit that bitch with a 'flap disc' on your grinder to get a serious curve. Cover the whole enclosure with duct tape. Another layer on the baffle so the woofers sit flush may also gain you. Have you removed the rear speakers or deadened the trunk lid yet?

Once I 45 the corners, I will round the front corner over more. Right now it has a 3/4 round over already. But covering the box with duck tape??? really? What is that suppose to do?

I have not removed the rear speakers and I have not put the first place of sound deadening in the car. I am not sure sound deadeding is all its cracked up to be...

K apology accepted and were back on topic. I would try and see if maybe sealing the back of the trunk off from the ports would help, umm... try a phase switch??

Ummm... do what? My subs are pointed up and ports forward, wouldn't that block any sub pressure??

is the box braced on the inside and is there a way to tilt it up in the front to get a better air flow into the cabin?

Box is braced on the inside with allthread, up and down and front to back. I welded them together.

Edit: raising the front of the box does nothing for the score.

EditII: I have a feeling by raising the front on the box it blocks air from flowing freely over the front of the box. Atleast it makes sense in my mind???
