MTX J30 Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 i asked my dad if i could buy two subwoofers thats are 1500 watts max each and 750 watts rms each and he says i could lose my hearing with subs that loud. is this true. if it isn't true what can i say to my dad to get him to let me get the subs. i did some research and people said regular car systems played long enough can ruin your hearing but the people on this forum seem to be fine with there hearing so im not really sure what is "too loud". Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"
