sundownz
It is not covered by warranty - regardless I do have 100s of customers doing so. It will require a very strong electrical system to be dropped down. RamenNoodles
That amp has enough power to run it fine off of 1 ohm. Quote Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio
Torres
x2 on the strong electrical. you'd be ok with a beefy one. but also x2 on not doing it for daily. you wont get that much of a gain running it at .5 ohms, and everything will just run hotter. however running it at 1 ohm would be plenty of power for a BTL
Kian
the electrical system yea i know. because i just want to use it for competition. only and run my kicker amp for daily. banginAltima
Running .5 ohms for competition only is a different story. You will be okay and you will love the power the 3000 makes at .5 ohms. Even if you only use it for comps, its best to have a strong electrical... Quote If you build it, db's will come... RamenNoodles
Damn two amps for one BTL. Thats a cool idea you have there by using the zx2500 for daily so its at 2 ohms then the sundown 3k on .5 ohm for comp. Not a bad call. But what kind of power does the sundown 3k make at 2 ohms? Might be enough for some nice daily usage. Quote Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio
