i was just kinda wondering which one was which when you said ghetto ass install,since theres wires running everywhere in yours and not finished boxed and amps laid in there,shit all in the floor boards and then i saw the other guys white whatever it was,was even worse lol

well i did a little bit of testing. i dont think i found my right frequency. i only got a 133.81 legal and a 133.47 bass race. to the ear it is a hell of alot louder than my 4 12's were. i am hoping that when i add the 2nd 15 and the 2nd 1500.1 it gain a bare minimum of 6.19. i am incredibility disappointed with these number. i just gotta wait to get my other 15. i am gonna mess around with box placement a little when ever i can test more. if i cant get at least a 140 out of it i know it will be a issue of adidng more power. bet hey it is nice and loud daily which is my #1 priority.,

Harley I doubt you will pick up over 6 db by doubling cone area and power. In theory and this never happens the most you will gain is 6 db. Like I said it never happens though. I just doubled power in my car and went up by 1.8 db when in theory I could have gained 3 db. Honestly I'm not trying to rain on your parade but I'd guess you may gain 4.5 db by adding double the power and subs. You may pick up more if you redesign the box. You could gain way more spl by making a new box that works a ton better for your subs. Another thing is that you don't even have close to the amount of power that those woofers require to play loud. The amps that you have don't put out power man. Honestly I'm speaking from experience cause I had the big daddy of them all the GP3000D. My 2 SAZ1500D's are shitting all over the Ground Pounder that I had and they aren't rated to do any more power than the GP was. Get yourself some decent power now to go with your good subs. Maybe try a little larger box in the 3.5 cubes per woofer range still with 35-40 sqin of port per sub. Look at Kory's car. He had the 2 HD's in it in a trunk off of 2 Sundown 3000d's and he was only doing 145-146's out of it. You have an exteded cab truck that is capable of getting way louder than a trunk car. I wish I was in Ohio so I could help you with your build. I'll do anything I can to try and help you get loud.

zach i was being sarcastic about the gain og 6 db. i forgot the smiley. my max dimensions are 35w 20 h 33 d. i am justt gonna focus on getting it to do the 139 class for now. i am giving up on getting a good number db drag wise out of the truck.

u ever tryed a downfire box? screw some boards to the sides of that box n flip it upside down but make it atleast 3'' off the floor and see if that makes a diff, my truck got alot louder with a downfire than a upfire box and still sounds clean as hell and hits lows really well and its sealed to so maby a downfire ported would fuckin wang, its worth the shot?
