The Big Chris Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I have 3 100w PA/Outdoor speakers from radio shack...I want to get a couple more and put them on a amp. Does anyone know what time of amps are good to run 5 or 6 of these speakers?

raytard Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 sure it is look at pyle or lanzar, they make ghettoblaster amps. make sure you bridge them down to 4ohms, since most are 16 or 8 from radioshack. wire in a bassblocker (1000hz is usually good) you're going to need a 4channel to run 6...even though you're only going to use 3 Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC

01xtreme Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 are you the newest Ice Cream Man? I wish. For some reason alot of people around here love putting PA speakers outside their car, so even when their windows are up we can still hear their shitty ass systems. There's no getting away from them. Honestly a little part of my soul dies everytime I hear someone with PA speakers outside their cars...parade or not. My System: Pioneer AVH-P3200BT 4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors) 8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash) 1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs) 2-18" BTL's (for now) Crescendo 3kwp (for sale) Complete rebuild coming soon...
galacticmonkey Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Just buy another one, and run 4 of them. Get a 4 channel and bridge it at 4 ohms, you will see the most power that way. Another option is to run 6 speakers on a 2 channel amp. Each 3 speakers would give you a 2.67 ohm load.
