I noticed it has a different type of glue on the spiders. Is it a fiberglass resin?

epoxy the spiders ARE glued down and around with it

That's a nice looking sub! D, how big is that box? Also have you tried a sub up port up box in that explorer yet? If so, what's the difference in output?

The 18" looks so massive next tot he 15"!! HA HA HA!! Looking good!

Just imagine how tiny a 12" would look in there.

That's a nice looking sub! D, how big is that box? Also have you tried a sub up port up box in that explorer yet? If so, what's the difference in output?

The box is 8ft net w/ 120" of port area. I have not tried port up yet. I did try sub forward port to the driver's side with a single sub setup and it worked decent but sub up port back was louder on the meter.

I switched from sub up port back to sub up port up in mine and to ear it was alot louder. It also moved more air. Haven't had it metered yet though!
