pstone11 Posted April 27, 2009 Author Report Posted April 27, 2009 So, little bit of shitty news..... seems like one of the amps that came back in off of repair is a giant turd.. up in smoke last night, only 2 days of bumping killed it..... I'll let brian fill in the details on that nonsense.... Had 4 xxx-6500's on the build 1 came from sundownz - works perfect 1 was sent into US Amps on repair - they did a sweet job - works perfect 1 was sent into the amp doctor - giant turd, decided to shed parts and go up in smoke - not a really sweet repair job 1 was kinda an unknown, had a funky sounding fan when benched.... slaved it in to test it a while back....acted funny...kinda expected it to be a turd, and it was..... just an extra, was a spare anyways. I'll let b-eazy fill in the rest of it, man.... how dissapointing. anybody have 3 4000watt amps they wanna trade for 4 xxx-6500's?
