I have a Rockford T2000.1bd in my car with stock electrical, except for the big 3. I have the amp hooked up to two 12 inch Alpine Typr R's @ 1ohm at the moment. The amp is not turned up much at all, maybe 15% gain with 2volt preouts on HU, with no bass boost. With deeper bass, sometimes the volts will drop to 11. I was just wondering if this is low enough to damage the amp? If not, what is the ''danger point?''

ys it's low enough to blow it if you play it that low, for an extended period of time.

gain is not a volume knob!

Can someone help me out with this, what the hell is the big 3.

the BIG 3 is like lets say is to have a better charging system than your stock charging or electrical system.....it helps to keep your voltage good...also it helps on NO dimming lights or voltage drops...hope this helps...someone correct me if im wrong...

imo the simplist way to discribe a big 3 is like:

stock electrical is like sucking a milkshake through a coffee straw

Big three is like sucking through a slurpee strae (ie you get more)
