Who Has 12" Alpine Type-x I Need Suggestions

Recommended Posts

ok so i was going to go with a 12" btl, but thats just starting to become way too much for my pocket.

so now im going with an Alpine Type-X.

who has one of these? and whats a good ammount of poweer to run them?

alot of people say using 1 PDX 1000 watt is plenty, but i want to run atleast 1500 or 2000 watts for this sub.

and any other suggestions?

(preferably people who have a 12" type-x or have had one)

Better for the money and I don't see a X lasting on 2krms.

go with a loaded bl, a little lighter on the wallet, and if you blow it (prob wont) its only a recone compared to replaceing the sub

I have a 12" Type-X. I have it powered by a P1000-1bd and it hits really damn hard :) It is not a bad sub at all. If you're going to pay retail at 500$ though, don't get it and go with a Fi like everyone else said.

IMO Dude stick with the Type X. No offense to Fi, or anyone else, but everyone and there mom has Fi Branded woofers. They are good woofers, no doubt thats why everyone runs them. Think outside the box and go with the X. BTL would get louder, but the X would sound better....
