E a r t h
Gary do you know if the Db Electrical's are any good? They seem to have the same specs as the big name brands but I've never really heard anything about them. Ive asked a couple different guys from different forums bout em and they both said good things. One guy said he bought a 250 amp unit and clamped it putting out 267 I believe. I was also informed of pretty good customer service from the company aswell. But, im just repeating what i was told, I have no facts of either so you be the judge. I might give em a shot. Nightshade
No big deal...the biggest topic is a bummer...can't get a alt. Just find a spot to put in a second one. Dual alts in an Altima ftw!!! That would be pretty sweet to see that. They do alot of kick ass high demand applications. We will be running some of his AD special purpose alts in the Hummer soon. We tested a few last night and we were very impressed , top knotch build quality for realz. www.dcpowerinc.com MLA Quote missinglinkaudio The United States Marine Corps. If you had a '08 Mercedes Sprinter van and the alternator was $1326 from the dealer you would because that is what that alternator fits..... Please dont look at one item and assume that they all are that expensive, you have to put it in perspective as to what that particular alternator is and what it fits... And from another perspective, that alternator will do 200+ amps, at idle, all day long....

Guest Just_Rob
Is there anyone that will rebuild a factory alterantor to put out 250 amps? Personally speaking, most alternators we build are on modified "factory" OEM alternators, and we rarely if ever build on the actual alternator that comes on most cars.. There is almost always without exception something bigger/better that can be put in it's place that we build on.. Squeezing 250 amps out of a 90 amp alternator isnt generally a good idea...
