Moti
You really should of got a 45nm processor. The only reason the 780i and 790i were brought into the market is to have support for intel's 45nm parts. Anyways nice build, but ddr3 is a waste on socket 775. The memory controller is the limiting factor on socket 775, and that is why DDR3 is properly used on the nehalem architecture. +ZER0Hz+
Well i saved a few bucks by getting a barebones which had the case, mobo, graphics card (which I got the XFX version instead of the EVGA version), processor, ram, hard drive (which is another story, I ended up with 1.5 tb instead of the 1 thats in the kit) and power supply. I just had to get some simple shit. I finally got my fans, graphics card tweaked a lil higher, getting around to getting the cpu up there. Heres a link to the barebones: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...8&CatId=333 I just checked the diff in price for the graphics card: def. got a $269 graphics card for the price of a $219 card. RamenNoodles
Overclocking your GPU is virtually useless. The few frames per second more that you get from it, is almost barely noticable to the naked eye. Nice rig though. How did the c2d q overclocking go? Are your voltages stable at that level and how are your temps? Quote Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio
