Mellow18 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 i just bought this Amp and would like to know the info on it freq. inputs etc...been searching the net.mostly find ebay sites i dont know much about car audio..and not sure how to set up my system 1 precision power Amp,2400.2 watts 2 12'' rockford fosgate punch power dvc subs 1 Rockford He2 12'' subs are in dual sealed and single sealed box. newer alpine head unit (ipod)... 2 pioneer 6x9 3-ways i believe 2almani 6x4's 4 shitty amps.... id appriciate it if some one would help me set up or give me any advice from what i need to buy wires/box etc..or get rid of..and if u need more info on my subs/amp etc let me know. ive had a system for a while but never really looked into it online.i never knew what clipping was and still confused about it.. --thanks! AI James Posted November 21, 2008 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 first off no miss matching subs. second if your installing on your own for the firswt time you need to be familiar with your car and what wiring goes to what. third find out what you want and neeed. most cars have 2 fronts 2 rears a substage a deck and amplifiers. you will need rca cavles and power wires. you will also need speaker wire unless you want to splice into stock wireing. theres alot more but its a start Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ryde2idie Posted November 22, 2008 Report Share Posted November 22, 2008 ok so if i use the 2 punch power DVC subshow would i go about setting the amp..thats one thing i never understood... can the subs even handle the wattage that your amp is goin to throw at them caus all you described was 2 12" rockford fosgate punches and that could range from a handling wattage from like 50 watts to 1000 watts depending on which sub you actually have. and i tried to find the specs on your amp but couldnt pull up anything. anyway you need to make sure the subs can handle that amp before you get done all this and you crank it up and watch your money waste away into that beautiful scent of fried electronics.
