Big P
if its simple just down load adaware and avg free firefox and trillion. first goto add and remove programs n see if theres any funky stuff in there if there is remove it. then hit control alt delete if its a xp machine hit the processes tab now look thru there for any funky stuff like maybe some thing that says "Iexplorer" if theres something you question simply wright exactly the image name in a search engine like yahoo and see what kind of search results com up then run both adaware and avg free home addition in safe mode n see what happens. audiofanaticz
Avg is my fav antiviruse program. www.grisoft.com avast also works good too. www.avast.com As for some other spywear progroms. search and destroy is a nice free program http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Dest...4-10122137.html And then I also reccomend ccleaner which is a good program for cleaning up misc crap which is free too http://www.ccleaner.com/download/
westvan_dude
The new AVG is alright. They also have a spyware version that you can get 30day trial for. Use that. Also get Spybot Search&Destroy v1.4 which works good, make sure to install the "tea timer" software. It helps prevent software from installing simply by clicking on webpages. Use your common sense to when browsing and use firefox, stay the f away from MS explorer <cough>exploder<cough>.
