Inverting The Btl

Has anyone ever heard of inverting the btl? I just got 2 12" and I want to invert them in a wall setup in my dodge ram. I believe it would work if you just flip the rubber gasket right? Any ideas?

Well the magnet looks pretty sweet on the 12" considering it's just about as big as the cone, and I'm doing something similar to what this guys doing:

Do you think it alters quality at all? vs. being inside the box.

it will increase box volume and lower tuning... so as long as u account for that ur fine

u might also hear mechanical noises that would have been attenuated inside the box otherwise... ive had an 12" re se inverted for ~4months and never noticed that... nor had any problems... it should cool the sub better also since its not in a hot box

air flow, maybe. make sure you round your corners

if both slot ports... the L-port just needed to be longer then the depth of the box so there needs to be a 90 degree turn to allow for lower tuning
