I just installed 2 us amps md2d's running them at 1 ohm, and they play fine, but they blink protect when the bass hits, checked all the wires, and grounds... I dont know what it could be? any ideas?

Check the voltage at the terminals of the amp. Could be a dodgy fuse, too small wire, bad connection... but it sounds like a voltage issue to me.

turn the gain down, play a test tone 45-50hz , then slowly turn the gain up.

Do they get loud or only clip??

It is called a soft clip, it will do it when load is to low/voltage is too low/ and when there is to much input
