Did you get the resin to cure or did you go ahead and wipe it off and do another layer?acually it did dry. it was really wierd after i started that thread that morning it just dried all of the sudden lol. kinda ironic haha. but yeah i started using a different brand of resin and it drys in no time at all. tahoexfixssd Posted January 30, 2009 Author Report Posted January 30, 2009 im in the process og body fillin to smoth everything out. i decided to go with the elastromeric coating on the inside but i mite go with a gloss clearcoat over it to make it smoother. havent decided on that one yet. il get some pics up tonight hopefully. ive been really busy with other builds ive built like 4 boxes in the past week for other people. tahoexfixssd Posted February 6, 2009 Author Report Posted February 6, 2009 alrite i got all the glassin done so heres the well needed pics! these pics were taken during the first layers of glassing. ther is 3 or more layers of matt of everything. as well as about 1/4 of resin in the bottom to smooth it out. after that i sanded all the roughest spots and smoothed it out as much as i could with filler. then put 3 coats of resin over the top of that. after it was as smooth as i could get it i painted it up with some high gloss white paint. i had to take out a brace to paint easier but i have to put that back as well as 2 more and some all thread the front will be put on this weekend!
