Idk What To Do My Back Hurts So Efing Bad

Recommended Posts

My back has been all screwed up since I was lifting weights at a young age, and didnt lift right. my lower back muscles, or discs have been screwed up ever since. I usually get away most of the year with out problems. But rescently I hurt my back, and I was bed ridden for a few days again, like every year, and I decided to try laying flat on my back, with my legs elevated on the couch, basically sitting upside down... I slept in that position for 1 hr

woke up, and I was literally able to jump and run all over the place- WTF???

I later read that doing something like that stretches your vertibrae, and allows fluid to re fill your discs

Just try it, you never know man

My lower back gets really bad sometimes and doing exactly that is the only thing that helps!

just lying down, sitting or standing doesnt make the pain go away, but that totally relieves the stress.

definitely works for certain back pains, but you cant just lay there 10 mins, and hope for the best, take a whole damn nap, 1hr or so

mid day nap while the back hurts

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Speaking of possible treatments {and BTW, I almost NEVER pay any attention to stupid ass info-mercials}

But I wonder if that.... I think its called, a Teeter Hangup would work ? Or should I say, I wonder if "the principal of hanging upside down, to put a stretch on your spine would work" ?

Hmmmm. I bet even if it would, a chiropractor would never admit, huh ? :-)

Peace,

Fish
