Wiring would come down to 1.34 ohms.

Just wondering if this would be smart. Dont want to fry a amp. What ohm stability would i need?

A Sundown 3000 would power them pretty good.

Edit: Actually, two Sundown 1500's would be better.

Or any amp that is one ohm stable.

You need atleast a 1ohm stable amp and if you strap 2 saz-1500ds together it has a 2 ohm load wich meens there gonna start getting hot pretty quick unless you turn them down. Im guessing this is a daily driver. I would go with the saz-3000d but your onlygonna be getting probley a bit over 2500. This is good though so you dont fry the kapton voice coils in the l7s. Over powering them is not smart. 0.02 :-)

All out for a rebuild.

New shit coming in the next 30 days.

Not true. By the time you get box rise you should be around 2 ohms for the pair of amps. Even running any Sundown amp (SAZ) at .5 ohms they don't get hot.

Sundowns wil get hot at 0.5ohms on a daily driving car. There is a reason jacob doesnt warant them at 0.5ohms any more. They only recommend 0.5ohms for burps. As far as a 1.3ohm load on 2 saz-1500ds strapped with a 2ohm stability Im not sure how hot it will get. Im only stating that Jake nore db-r will warrant running them lower than the recommend ohms stability.

I've had 1.22 ohm final load and my saz-3000 it has never even been slightly warm .

Where talking about strapping 2 1500ds at 1.34 ohms while a 2 ohm load is the lowest rated resistance. And another thing the rlp-18s that are in your avatar. How do you like them. I know there an sq sub but how are they as far as spl goes? And what app are you using them in?
