Ok This If For All You Pioneer Hu Users Who Are Getting A Very Annoying Alternator Whine

Ok this if for all you pioneer HU users who are getting a very annoying alternator whine. Its most likely not your fault. Thats right its a manufacture defect. The internal ground is fused. When this fuse pops then good luck getting a ground. This will lead to that very annoying alternator noise.To solve this all you need to do is jerry-rig the ground. When I got my pioneer and was dissapointed with the noise. Sold it made a bill and bought a higher end premier. Same problem existed. I dealt with it and then sold the deck. I bought another high end premier with the same problem. My Alpine had no problem. So i was like this is not a coincidence. I googled it and found this pic. Just do what they did in this pic and your set.

Iv got the new deh-p5000ub and I have this small alt. whine. Its not in the door speakers but coming off of my highs amp. I thought it was the rcas being to close to the power cable but now there on opposite sides of the car and i still get a small wine. Im gonna try this when I get the chance to night and let yall know how it goes. Seems to be the preouts. Hmmm. I know model from last year did the same thing too. well see. Let me knwo results if you guys get any.

So I just ghetto-rig some wires around the rca terminals and ground them down?

and u do not halfto do each rca output only 1 of each and it will do the same thing, i had to do this with my 680mp but my 860 doesnt have any whine and i assume its to do with pre out voltages cause my 860 has 6.5 outs and my 680 had around 2-4v preouts and it seemed to happin with newer ones cause my 860 is older model premire and it doesnt have teh slightest whine at all but i always rap my wire around the rca instead of the out put terminal cause thers the chance a strand will go in the middle of the output terminal and short it out, i wished someone would inform pioneer about this problem cause it seems like everyone that got the ones from 04-06 and up has that problem, or some other sort of problem with it, and if anyone asks it doesnt matter what guage wire u use as long as its between 18-14 is fine no need to do 12guage or what knot, and it does work but doesnt take away all of the whine just 80% of it, its still audible when volume is 0 but once u turn it up it cant be heard

Yup, but u have to do just 1 rca, they are linked internal. Just like tacoma said.

I use to have a p8mp,p7700mp, and p860mp, all of did this because i got them second hand and this usually happens after someone pulls the rcas while the amp is on after that the fuse usually pop, i wrapped the wire on all the rcas because its always best to get the best ground you can for anything, just like when you ground your amplifier you scratch off the paint first to get the best ground so what if its an overkill.
