First I want to say that you to all the competitors that came out for the toys for tots and thank you to all the competitors that stepped up to try Show Time SPL.

This was the first time we ran it ever. It was basically a trial run to see how the format and rules will work.

And I believe Chode was the first through the lanes.

This is the first format to ever use 2 mic locations simultaneously. It is very interesting to analyze the data.

One mic location is in the passenger kick and the other is on the driver door glass with the door wide open. An average of both scores is taken to figure the score.

Next time we run it the rules will be more defined and we will have more prizes. at least one for each class.

So thank you to all that tried it and enjoyed it.

--Street Class--

7th. Joey) Floor=140.3/Door=123.4. Score=131.85

6th. Shayne) Floor=141/Door=125.7. Score=133.35

5th. John) Floor=141.5/Door=125.8. Score=133.65

4th. Scott) Floor=147.2/Door=125.6. Score=136.4

3rd. Ian) Floor=144.9/Door=130.8. Score=137.85

2nd. Colton) Floor=146.2/Door=130. Score=138.1

1st Place and winner of the Brand New Lincoln Navigator (RC car)

Brandon L.)

Floor = 150.1dB / Door = 135.5dB. Score = 142.8 dB

Congrats to Brandon and thank you for doing a good thing and donating your prize to the Toys for Tots campaign.

--No Wall Class--

3rd. Josh) Floor=147.0/Door=126.5. Score=136.75

2nd. Andrew) Floor=149.1/Door=132. Score=140.55

1st. Nick) Floor=148.3/Door=133. Score=140.65

Congrats Nick.

It was interesting to see that even though Andrew was louder overall, the door score brought you up to a winning score.

--Wall Class--

3rd. Jimmy) Floor=143.2/Door=129.5. Score=136.35

2nd. Assman) Floor=155.5/Door=140.6. Score=148.05

1st. US Audio) Floor=160.5/Door=137.4. Score=148.95

Congrats Steve and US Audio. Randy almost caught him cause Randy's door score was so freakin loud. Thats 140 dB about 3 ft outside the door.

--Extreme--

1st. Me, Ed lester) Floor 155.5/Door=139.9. Score=147.7

Compare these scores to your dB Drag scores and it will tell you alot about how your car transfers the pressure.

Thank you again guys.

Im definitly down for doing this again. it was alot of fun. could we step up the prizes a bit? nothing too too big im just saying like if there is a lot of close competition, could we make the winner recieve their registration money back or something small like that? just curious. could make things a bit more interesting :D

I am trying to get some of my sponsors like T3, Hifonics, and PowerMaster to donate some prizes for the future. So prizes may be like a pair of components or a small sub or something and for bigger events maybe some amps.

We'll see how it ends up though. Gotta start small and work it on up.
