Alpine CDA-9886 Big 3 0 gaude kicker hyperflex EA H/O alternator 200 amps 0 gauge run (sub) 4 gauge run (mids and highs amp) stock battery up front 2 Deka 9A31 in trunk Sub amp is a GP 3000D My sub are Fi Bl 12'' Sub box is Fishercustom slot port 4 cu. @ 32hz sub box max. that will fit in my trunk. 38w 14h 22d in. Car is a 95 cutlass ciera My Fi Bl 12'' sound good in that box, but I want to get louder, so with that said I want to go with 3 10'' trash 10'' IXl 10'' are Fi Bl 10'' which would be louder on this set up, and still sound descent max size 38w 14h 22d slot port I like old school R&B, and some rap (clean ) Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!
AI James Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 the icons wont hold a candle to the BL's in sheer loudness but will sound better on the low end. id recommend either BL 10s 4xl10s or some DD 3510s
Gotloud555 Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Go for the 3 10" sub because it will give you deep hard hitting bass. It will get loud depend on the proper enclosures. DD sub are not cheap so i wouldn't buy it if you going to upgrade again.
