Fish Chris
Hey wL, I like my subs wether 8" or 18" to play 60-65hz and down and my components 55-60hz and up. in a perfect world, sure.... that would be great. But I just have a hard time believing that the mid-range speakers in pretty much any comp set (least any I've ever heard) can do enough between 60hz and 100hz, to really keep things flat.... "especially" if you have some high powered subs, and enough mids and highs to almost keep up. If it's strictly an SPL system, and being able to stay flat isn't important, that's fine. But their IS a good reason why most SQ guys run mid-bass drivers. Peace, Fish
