shane850
Topic... Looking for a good 1/2 ohm stable mono amp that will put out a clean 800-1000 rms @ 2ohm. It can't be a power hog (has to be efficient) and under $250. bigbodylexus
Kicker makes the 1500 (I think that's the model) but I can't say what the price is. For that range I would be careful, I think quality might be an issue Quote 1990 Chevy Suburban (Big Booty Judy) (4) Sundown Audio Zv5 18's (1) Sundown Audio Salt 12K (1) Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 (1) Sundown Audio SAE-50.4 (2) Crossfire ST-1 Tweeters (2) Obsidian Audio ST-1 tweeters (4) Sundown Audio Neo Pro v3 6.5's Saving 2nd Bass

shane850
I was looking at the kicker zx750.1 Its under-rated @ 2ohm. So it puts out 850 or so. I meant a 1 ohm stable amp that would put out what I need @ 2ohms. Think the SSD can take 1000 all day with just copper coils and easy on the gains? shane850
i dont think your going to find an amp thats not going to be a power hog at 1/2 ohm stable. Some are better than others. Like the Sundown vs RF thread I saw a little while back. The Saz-1500 put out rated power and sucked up less voltage than the RF 1000.1 putting out rated power. The only reason I'm worried is because my electrical is stock and my alternator is only 70amps so the more efficient the better.
