j_black10 Posted January 22, 2009 Report Share Posted January 22, 2009 20w-50 is toooo heavy of an oil for that truck! I use Castrol 10w-30 in my 98 explo-sport and it has almost 150k on it. Runs just fine!! If you're worried about the high mileage, use Castrol High Mileage or Sythetic in either 5w-30 or 10w-30, or use the synthetics James mentioned!
