Dr. Johnson Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Hey I can use some helpful advice on how to drill the doors of my sons dime that currently has no wires to the doors. I need to run wires for speakers and door locks from under the dash and into the doors. I would prefer not to take the doors off seeing that I am disabled and can not lift much. Please if you respond try to make it something you personally have done or been around to see personally; That way if I have further questions I will be able to ask you directly. Thanks For your experience and help in advance.
Eskii Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 It's fairly difficult to do this with out taking the door off. If you can drill a hole with them on, then it's pretty easy. You'll have to source aftermarket door gromets and wire covers that use round gromets and can fit you're wires. I can't give much advice on specific ones cause we have all different cars in Aus unfortunately! bobonit Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 Milwaukee Right Angle Drill Attachment. I have not used one of these personally, but I hear they work good if you can fit it in there. Maybe something like this could give you the clearance you need without taking the door off? http://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-49-22-8510...t/dp/B000BYEJ02 97 Maxima SE Bunch of shit going in, check out the build Build Log
