Boon Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 To save everyone's time when you're asking for a box design in here, makes sure you specify at least the following: Number of subs - A box for 1 sub is no good if you have 4 of them Type of sub - Different subs like different boxes Amplifier/s - If you're overpowering the sub you need a smaller box Vehicle - Some boxes suck in some cars but are great in others. Maximum/Desired dimensions - If it won't fit in the car it's not a lot of use Desired purpose - If you know what tuning you want, great. Otherwise, do you want it for pure SPL burps? Daily loudness? Optimum sound quality? We need to know. Any odd requirements - Maybe it has to fire sideways to clear your toolbox or something Almost every thread I see is missing at least a couple of these items. Without knowing all these things it's impossible and silly for anyone to try to recommend a box for you, so do everyone a favor and let us know EDIT: No I'm not offering to do box designs right now, just posting this for the good of everyone... 10.x volts fo' life!
