Super Small Install I Did Yesterday

Well, got this uber small crunch amp from a cousin for $25 bucks, and he was using a speaker he was still paying me for, well, he sold hic car and got a new truck so i got the stuff.

We started off day before yesterday jut throwing some lights on the center console, and down the door jams.

they wer piece of shits imo and i accidentally pulled the wires apart and they stopped working after many attempts to reattach them and get them working. They were a pain in the ass to work with and i dont recommend them to anyone. Dont remember the anem of the but you can get them from wally world.

they have a pretty nice toggle switch housing ( like a NOS flip switch set ) and its pretty bulky. It just so happened that in her center console, there was a place just big enough to fir it in there. So i took my dremel with my spiral bit and cut up some plastic to run the big bulky wires through.

for what this set-up is ( cheap, and low low power ) its decently loud, and she loves it .. i think partly in cause its her first system REALLY needs a new box! i hope to e started on it sometime this weekend, or beginning of next week for the new substage.

Depends on the extra cash for some wood. MDF is getting expensive around here. $27 per sheet plus tax.

Didnt have time to clean the wires up in the back before she had to go babysit, work on that sometime tomorrow or this weekend when i can get a lil bit more time with the car, so picture of that then.

If your already planning on doing upgrades for her why the hell did you run 8 guage for power wire? You know that shit is only good for speaker wire. I would have ran at least 4 but probably 0. I ran 8 guage in my wife's car, but she isn't the biggest fan of bass and the one RF P1 12 that she has is too loud for her sometimes. well, im gonna go ahead and bump this up until in the morning when i have my camera cause its at the shop.

She now has a Pioneer AVIC-D3 installed that i picked up from the guy i work for. Only $250, we still sell them for $550 + install. Her new box should be built by the end of the week or mid week next week. depends on the cash tomorrow. on whether or not i can get the wood.

EDIT: Dash kit hasnt arrived for the car yet, so ill install that when it decides to get here and when i have time

its coming! along with a bigger amp, and a bigger alt from DC Power. Been talking with Dave and i can get one that does like 350 amps for under $500.

we are thinking 3 12's with 3000 RMS.
