After hooking up doorlocks, almost everything stop working. Alarm will sound if holding down lock, and doorlocks work just fine. It doesnot chirp when i arm it, and door triggers, shock sensor dont seem to be working. ptcary Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 I am about 1/2 way through installing a 5900 on my PT, will finish it up tomorrow. Are you using an adapter kit (Xpress kit or Omega), or are you wiring it direct? Reason I ask is sometimes if you confuse the adapter while it is programing itself, it will not work and you gotta disconnect it and start over. Also, I think if you are direct wiring it, there is polarity for the locks, (positive or negattive) any chance you might have a wiring issue where the locks are connected to the alarm brain?
