Slinky Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 and than not know how to fix it and not risk losing all your files? stfulast time i reformatted from a virus was like a year ago get a fucking external hard drive and put your files on there dumb ass. reformatting is so easy and quick. Plus, you get a fresh os which is always lightning fast. I just dont see how it was worth spending 10 HOURS getting that virus off there when you could just reformat in less than an hour. Ten hours what? Longest it SHOULD take if you know what you're doing is gonna be FOUR HOURS MAX. Plus side to not reformatting is everything is usually still the same and you don't have to spend hours on end CUSTOMIZING AND REINSTALLING EVERYTHING you had before.
