if i cared about respect i wouldnt have posted what i did. its a forum. i posted my opinion and obviously you guys didnt like it but o well. thats what its for. respect or not im happy with what i can do even if you arent. mazdawg is by far the best installer no matter the equipment. im sure hes not on here for people to hug his nuts but to show how you build amazing fiberglass installs like the suburban. his builds have always showed exactly how you do fiberglass and not holding anything back. wow a person can cram equipment into a small car weee.... i have 2 15" ssi's and a treo 750.1 in my rex and do mid/upper 40s on music with midline equipment. but seeing as its treo and not Fi it will make a big difference in peoples eyes on this forum as much as you dont wanna say there is a fad for fosgate and Fi there is. all solid equipment and its prooven itself time and time again but its the point of when someone asks about what amp or sub u get 65 messages saying Fi and Fosgate even from people that have never heard it or seen it or even run it in thier own vehicle.

/end of rant

good luck. mazdawgs is still the best and 2nd is definetly The performer because most people dont know how difficult it is to prep fiberglass to be smooth enough to paint.

I agree but since this is SYSTEM of the month and not INSTALL of the month i think the polls are correct... Maybe it's just me but installation is only one part of a system....

god forbid that my next system will consist of RE, SUNDOWN, or some DIABLO equipment. too popular to get respect on this shit. all this seems like it's just a sugar coated fcuk you to the equipment i use. while i'm not into sealed boxes, lights, screens, or big systems, i can appreciate the work that goes into it. getting a van or gutting a car to get a blank canvas takes a lot of time and planning. too bad you're not withheld because of space issues or having to drive this same car everyday.

You know what Phillip i have the upmost respect for what you have done,i guess cus i do systems like yours on a regular bais which is my bread and butter work i dont see it the same vain!! which kind of makes me bad!!!i dont want to be seen as a spoil sport at all cus i aint like that!! im more than willing to drop out of the nominations if you want me to??

mazdawg -thank you for manning up...i can somewhat understand why your upset with all the time and effort but different strokes for different folks. my vote did go to you though

lade...i really dont have anything to say to you...i just find you disrespectful though i agree on you with "if its not the design and install what is it?" yes its true this is based on design and install and overall vehicle but a simple design and install is still a design and install. if your just going to contribute negativity then could you just stay out of this section it would be appreciated

I think Mazdawg's is by far the best install on here this month. The hours put in and the design make this obvious.

However, when "Joe the Plumber" looks through the nominees.. the system with 2x 12's will appeal more. Mazdawgs system will wow him, (I should know - he's doing my car soon) but Phillips will inspire people to try themselves.

IMHO Mazdawg's is SOTM, but I can see why people vote for Philip.

BTW - Paul (mazdawg) is very down to earth, but also very proud of his work and therefore very defensive of it - as you would expect.

For me, the fact that all 3 nominees are SO different makes SOTM the winner.

Lets stop arguing and just marvel at peoples hard work - whichever you prefer.
