bigbodylexus
I can't explain that one, i never did have a problem with the soap but if AutoZone don't have it you could actually try a dealership and ask them what they use, some mechanics are good at sharing a few secrets. E a r t h
how well does the belt wrap the pulley? can you take a pic?
kingsuv
Another thing to look at is a bearing going out will squeal too. Try hitting just the centers of the pulleys with some WD-40 and see if that the problem. If it is then u need to replace that pulley. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
Dr. Johnson
http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,66502/...g/selectZip.htm This is autoozones gatorback for your car go there and tell them you need the next smaller belt. I would not go more than .75 smaller than factory. It worked for me. and it is a reasonable price too. "The best for less"
Bass4Lyfe
Thanks for that product link bro. It is not wrapped around the pulley that much, maybe 1/3 or so ... me and my dad have a plan to add an idler pulley to make it wrap more so do that and then get a gatorback, and tighten it a lot ... hmm whoever mentioned it why would sanding the other side of the belt help at all if it never touches the pulleys? thx for all the input guys.. kingsuv
The back side of the belt also touches stuff like idler pulleys. As it snakes around one pulley it will double back on the other side on another pulley. That back side can get glazed over and smooth causing it to squeal.
