Your lost there partner.........

What he means is he has a Kicker 1000.1 and he was driving and went over a rail road track and the amp started cutting in and out on the way home. Now upon actual inspection of this amp there is no 'burn' marks whatsoever on the board. It gets power but no signal output. What can be the problem with his amplifier. It was mated to a 15" Kicker L7 D4 wired at 2-Ohms. All the wiring was good no loose wires/RCA's or anything. Head unit is in good working order.

Can someone please inform him of the problem??

Edit: Can get pics from him of the board if needed.

Put some music on at a moderate level and try wiggling the RCAs around a bit - try holding them to each side, pulling gently, pushing into the amp... it's possible that the solder joint from the RCA stalk has gone bad, especially if your RCAs are tight.

Otherwise if you don't have an oscilloscope you're a bit stuck for diagnosing it. Try db-r.com for repair if it's out of warranty.

Ah we tried that. No osilloscope (sp) :(

Would USAmps repair dep't be able to do it? They have a post saying they can I think. Or what would db-r usually charge??
