first system in 9th grade in a chevy lumina was two alphasonic 15's on a quantum audio mono amp with kicker coaxials and a boss amp on mids lol

10th grade honda civic: fusion hu, kicker mids, alphasonic 15's, quantum audio mono, and an explore (sp) amp for mids

11th - 12th grade: pioneer hu, 2 mtx 5500 15's sealed, mmats d700.2 2 optima batteries, went through alot of mids lol had kicker first, then i went to some o2 coax's, then i changed up to some audio pipe loud speakers, also went through a bunch of amps for mids, explore, power acoustik and crossfire. fiberglassed door panels for the coax speakers with 2 6x9's and a 6.5 on each door and then i had another pair of door panels for the audip pipe mids. sounded pretty loud, was def one of the loudest at my school and i got my first music ticket with this set up! 500$ my dad wasnt so happy bout that lol

my first was a pioneer supertuner pull out tape deck wit 2 10 inch pyle driver subs with punch 200 ix then i got new subs 2 months later cuz i blew em i went with 2 12 inch crunch

it was a good little box i still have it somewhere and it houses 2 8's and is ported but due to it being my first i have no idea what it was tuned to but it did sound really good for my first system.

My first sytem was a pair of Kraco truck box with 6" subs on a Kraco 200watt amp! How old am I?????

I am with you! My HS system was a Kraco casette, Sparkomatic 40watt booster, pushing 2 Fisher Cabinet 10" speakers in my 77 280z.

I couldn't afford most of the true audio gear back then, only the kids with the rich parents were running the gear (Fosgate, Alpine, Sherwood)

I think this is why I have a pretty sizable old school Fosgate collection now.

Hifonics wasn't even known back then.
