At SBN I was demoing on the beach for a couple hours behind the Desert Inn and my buddy got some great videos... I let it go and cranked it hard for a bit without revving and....lost some bass. Yep. One of the 4KWs popped. I called all my reps and located a 4KW in Florida that some guy from a shop was to bring me...I waited all the way until qualification was over and he never called back. So I couldn't compete. It was a great show though! I learned a lot about stuff there and met some really cool members. I was also devirginized with 160dB So after all was said and done, I got home, bought another 4KW and sent my bad one out for repair. Had a couple issues with my MOJOS, but all is well now. You guys might hate this... but I think it's time for a rebuild. I already know what's going in and how it's going to be setup, and I already have the list of ppl to talk to for assistance. It's going to be WAY BIGGER. And that's only because I have some guys in Parma, Ohio who are going to help me out with multiple alts. I'm gonna keep it a secret about what's going in, but here's the companies... DC Memphis Inter-linc I leave for Iraq May 1st and I don't know whether to buy the equipment first, or build the enclosure and get my suspension upgraded... We'll see. Need an install? So it's all the same. i say 6 lvl 4 XL 12s and 2 subs per mojo or 4 lvl 5 15-18s and a mojo each You're on the right track. But it'll be twelve 12s and 6 4KWs. Two subs per amp. It's either gonna be the XLs or LVL5s. I'll start with the MOJO amps since I can buy them cheap, then I'll upgrade amps later. As of right now, it's gonna be a ported clamshell similar to 2000lade's. I couldn't hold back telling what it was. It's so damn exciting to rebuild. I guess you can say I'm gonna shoot for 160, but I'm not expecting it. Once it's all together, I'm going to modify the car to raise the SPL, but legally. After seeing the 159.9 bassrace, it got me really excited and willing to go all out. My only issue is finding where to put the batteries, but that'll come later during the design. I might just switch to Powermaster since they are the same size and stronger. Need an install?
