Power Acoustik FUBAR 12

Recommended Posts

i never said it was perfectly good. its an 89 maxima. there coulda been a crack somewhere from a rock or somethin already started and my stereo just kept making the crack bigger. who knows. all i know is i have two huge cracks in my windsheild that were emphasized by my stereo.

no bullshit.

Your saying it will only get down to 36 hz?  I was talking about the one where it says 20-500hz or something in that neighborhood.  The cvr I used to have claimed it could get down to 20 but this sub def hits lower.

Fs is free air frequency response. not extension.  So it will get lower, that's just the sub's natural frequency.

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

i dont think you have to worry about how "low" it will get because, if you dont have a subsonic filter, it can play at frequencies the human ear cannot hear.
