That is also a good sub, I am happy with mine. I just wanted a more versatile sub, that is at home anywhere. Just be easy on the gains, to see how the subs handle the sundown(s) first, then readjust the gains accordingly.

i didnt think gains were a volume knob??? lol but yea i know what you mean, im going to take it easy with them until i feel  condident enough to try and get everything possible out of those subs/amps

I hope you actually did know what I meant, if not maybe 2 18's and some powerful amp's aren't what you need right now. In case you didn't know they are the adjustment knobs on the side of the amps.

yea i new what you meant dood, i just was pointing out that my gains shouldnt have anything to do with turning up my subs, my gains shoul dbe set according to my deck, not how loud i want my subs...

but the voltage can fluxuate is waht im getting at, if i set my gains, tand then try turning it up to show off i could possibly pop my subs... i know gains control the amount of power to the sub, but i cant just turn them up to get more power....
