I've had my Brutus for going on 3yrs and it's been great!! I actually think mine is underated!! It's pushing these Qs with ease and the gain is not even a quarter of the way up!!! dmanson Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 yeh i've had my amp for over a year. i had the epicenter but heck it made some my bass songs sound terrible so i took it back and got the audiocontrol 3.1, never looked back bro. my gain on my amp isn't even near 1/4 of the way up using that 3.1. my subs are rated at 1000rms apiece and it's pushing them nicely. i'm still waiting to get another amp though, need more power. if i'd of had the d2s i would have tried to get another 1500d and ran them both at 1 ohm. but i have the d4s. i wouldn't mine getting the brutus 2200d 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative. I listen to alot of ol skool, R&B, and blues though! I just recently add my Three.1 and it's also great! These Qs are 1000rms each. I think my truck is going to fall apart very soon!
